Smart DOCX import
Reads the author template or any DOCX: title, authors, affiliations, bilingual abstracts, sections, tables, images and references. Zotero/Mendeley Word-plugin citations are read automatically.
Jurnal Manager brings DOCX import, a visual editor, automatic metadata and OJS sync into one workspace. No subscription: you only pay US$1 per article you publish.
First 3 articles free. No credit card.
Authors, affiliations, bilingual abstracts and references are retyped from Word into OJS, one by one.
Layout, page numbering and JATS XML are produced across several tools, and mistakes creep in.
Issue, DOI, pages, received/revised/accepted dates and ISSN are filled in manually for every article.
Built from real OJS journal practice and tested on three Ruang Ide journals (JPMKT, JKMD, JHSNS).

Margins, columns, fonts, header/footer, abstract word limits and keyword rules follow each journal’s guidelines. JPMKT, JKMD and JHSNS profiles are built in.
A familiar ribbon: tables, images, LaTeX → MathML equations, footnotes, numbered or APA citations, and version history.

The app only reads from OJS. Tokens stay on the server and never reach the browser, and passwords are hashed. Access is limited per journal and important actions are logged.
Today you download JATS XML, PDF and HTML and upload them. Automatic write-back through an OJS plugin is on the roadmap.
OJS version detection, OAI/REST sync, article-page enrichment and PDF reading have also been tested on other institutions’ OJS journals. Custom template profiles can be added for your journal.
